UV Marketing Services was established in March 2000, to identify and develop markets in India for new technologies in the areas of made-ups, spinning, weaving, processing, non-woven textiles, with a strong marketing network all over India. The company has since diversified and expanded its activities by offering automation and warehousing solutions in all segments of industry and has created a separate entity known as U.V.Textile Machines Pvt.Ltd. that could exclusively focus on textile segment. We believe that a sustained and planned modernization with minimum investment that could enhance productivity, improve quality coupled with serious approach to energy conversation could provide sustainability to the textile mills in the long run. All our services are centered on this vision.

UV Marketing Services pioneered the concept of conversion and modification of spindles whereby Mills were able to increase their productivity with an investment that is paid back in 90 days. Accepted and adopted by Textile Mills all over India, more than 15,00,000 spindles have been converted at the workshop set up at Chennai – a testimony to the benefits of this innovative concept & approach.

Mr. Umesh Prasad a highly experienced Textile Technologist is the founder of the company. Mr. Prasad has wide experience in senior positions with organizations such as Century Textiles & Industries Ltd., SASMIRA, Voltas Ltd., Hindoostan Spinning & Weaving Mills and Kunal Engineering Company Ltd. The experience ranges from Shopfloor, R & D, Concept Marketing, Project Planning and Implementation. Our Services have always resulted in complete satisfaction to our valued customers with proven results.

The South India Operation is headed by Mr. S.Govindarajan based in Coimbatore in the state of Tamilnadu, India. Mr. Govindarajan is a highly accomplished Technocrat having 30 years of experience in marketing of Textile Machinery and components in India particularly Tamil Nadu. He pioneered energy conservation by use of energy efficient spindles manufactured by Kunal Eng. Co.Ltd. Madras, in Spinning mills across Tamilnadu & Andhra Pradesh.

Dr.Veena Prasad, Ph.D in Mathematics from I.I.T., Mumbai is the administrative head of the organization.
